40 Over 40: Meike B.
My life, by far, has not followed a straight path. I went through a lot of ups and downs. Sometimes I ask myself, "Why am I still watching Netflix series when my reality is way more intense and crazy?"
Sometimes I wanted to give up, but I always found myself back in fight mode. Finally, after 40, it started to make sense. I began to deeply self-reflect, looked into the depths, made peace, and went straight into my inner struggles instead of following the flight mode.
I've lived in Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and New York City. I've traveled to many places and realized that I always take my fears, struggles, and wrong beliefs with me. So I finally made peace, changed my perspective, and went outside my comfort zone.
I turned painful experiences - personal, professional, and health-wise - into strengths - the change of bitterness and anger into peace and dignity made me encourage others. I changed careers and followed my heart. It led me to license a new coaching approach: Philanthrosophie®: Sparring with the vision of dignity, wisdom, and appreciation.
I am a book co-author and learned how to help people with epigenetics and psycho-physiognomy. I graduated from Master's Programs at Chicago Booth and INSEAD. My most significant learning after 40 was to let go, love myself, be honest with myself and follow my passion for supporting others.
It is only the beginning of a fulfilled part of my life - with all the hiccups in between and those that may come up. Courage is grace under pressure. Never forget to learn from our children and be more playful every day!
